One interesting target is IC 1396, a large emission nebula in the constellation of Cepheus. It contains a dark cloud of gas and dust called the Elephant’s Trunk Nebula which is seen against a brighter background of dust and gas, which looks like a sinuous trunk reaching out from a glowing cloud.
This was imaged for two nights under very heavy light polluted suberban skies of bortel 8-9.
First time for me to image this target, I didn't know what to expect. Here is an example of the source data which is not at all encouraging:

The result is this image that shows the beauty and complexity of IC 1396 under highly light polluted skies from the city. I am very happy with how it turned out, and I hope you enjoy it too
